What was Tobruk like?

Is anybody a fan of them? I've been listening to The Wildhearts demos recently again, and I have never heard Snake's band Tobruk. Were they any good? Anybody have a link to a website for them?

Tobruk weren't they from Brum. Had a 12" single. Think I sold it though. Have a copy of the title track though. Falling I think it was called! Good song from what I remember.

Tobruk released two lps Wild on the Run and Pleasure and Pain. Haven't listene to thenm in a while so can't really give you an opinion but I think the music was melodic rock. Saw them live and they put on a great show.

Always got confused with them and Waysted before Danny Vaughn become the singer. Waysted's original singer was called fin. Saw them with fin supporting somebody.

Been able to snag "Wild On The Run" since last night. I like it. Not what I would usually go for, and when it was released I would have HATED it, but now I like it. I'll have to get ahold of the other and give them some more spins.
